Crowds and rest
You can love the trip and still refuse the crush.
Crowds are part of many park days, but they do not have to set the whole tone. Soften the crush with timing, longer rests, and short scripts your group already agrees on.
- Aim for early entries or later evenings when your group can manage those windows.
- Treat a long rest as part of the itinerary, not a gap to fill.
- Use a short script: We are taking twenty minutes to sit and reset.
- If tears or sharp frustration show up, move to a quieter edge first, then decide what is next.
- Skip one peak-crowd attraction without guilt when the trade-off is a calmer afternoon.
Rest is not the opposite of a good park day. Often it is what makes the good parts last.
